In order to promote the sustainable development of environmental protection in China's water-based ink industry and accelerate the process of water-based ink in the industry, the "Plastic Gravure Water-based Ink Printing Factory Observation Meeting and Flexible Packaging Practical Technology Exchange Meeting" sponsored by Zhongxia Flexible Packaging Media was successfully held from May 25 to 27, 2021. About 220 people from domestic flexible packaging enterprises and related material suppliers attended the meeting. On the 26th, the technical exchange meeting was arranged at Xiamen Blue Bay Peninsula Hotel, and on the 27th, the visit was held at Zhangzhou Green Spring Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Fujian Green Spring New Materials Co., Ltd.
On the 26th, at the flexible packaging practical technology exchange meeting, Mr. Lin Guoliang, Chairman and Technical Director of Fujian Green Spring New Materials Co., Ltd., was invited to participate in a speech. The theme of the speech was "Full Water Ink and Its Application in the Field of Plastic Film Gravure Printing". The speech is divided into two parts. The first part is the cognition of all-water ink painting, the definition of ink painting, the difference between all (pure) water ink painting and alcohol water ink painting, and the classification of ink painting. The second part is the application of ink in the field of plastic film gravure printing. In this speech, Mr. Lin combined the characteristics of water-based inks and analyzed the characteristics of environmentally friendly water-based inks and excellent cases applied to non-absorbent substrate printing. At the same time, he further elaborated the overall solution of water-based inks in the application process, and received enthusiastic responses from leaders, experts, member units, plastic packaging manufacturers, upstream and downstream enterprises and other units.
On the morning of the 27th, Mr. Lin Guoliang, chairman and technical director of Fujian Green Spring New Materials Co., Ltd., led the leaders and expert teams of relevant units attending the meeting to observe the water-based ink printing factory of Zhangzhou Green Spring Technology Co., Ltd. The exhibition is divided into a special area for printing and packaging and a special area for packaging and finished products. More than 150 people from China watched and guided the exhibition. During the exhibition, the printing process of ink painting, solvent-free compounding process, compounding process, curing, etc. were displayed. The finished products finally produced were cut and handed over to customers.
Finally, at this observation meeting, Green Spring exhibited special water-based inks for packaging and printing in nine major fields, including food flexible packaging, shopping bags, living and household, and sanitary packaging materials, and provided customers with relevant consultation on the application of overall solutions. The water-based inks independently developed by Green Spring use tap water instead of toxic organic solvents in traditional inks. Its characteristics are non-flammable and explosive, eliminate potential safety hazards, low VOCs emission, non-toxic and tasteless clean production, and high color content, high solid content saves ink to reduce material costs.
