In the United States, 95% of flexo products use water-based inks. In Japan, 70% of flexo plates are used for corrugated board printing, of which 95% have used water-based inks. In our country, the proportion of flexo printing is increasing day by day.
2. Application in Gravure Printing Field: Water-based Gravure Printing Ink was widely used in the printing of packaging paper and thick cardboard boxes in the 1970 s. As evaporation drying and absorption drying are better in paper printing, the drying problem of water-based ink is better solved and popularized earlier. In the United States, 80% of gravure printing materials use water-based ink.
3, in the field of screen printing applications: At present, a large number of countries have used water-based screen printing ink Sweden, Germany and the United States. Since the 1980 s, the world has developed fabrics, paper, PVC, PS, aluminum foil and metal net printed with light and matte water-based inks. The development speed of screen printing in China is very fast, but the development and popularization of screen printing water-based ink is slow. According to reports, China's printing materials such as paper and plastics have been applied to screen printing water-based ink and gravure, flexo printing water-based ink.
